Bank Search Inquiry:  Criteria Tab

The Bank Search Inquiry allow you to view the details of the bank library without requiring entitlements to the library.  Use the Criteria Tab to enter search criteria to obtain the information you need.

Notes:

To specify search criteria and submit a Bank Search Inquiry:

  1. On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Inquiries. Click Bank Search Inquiry and then click Bank Search Inquiry.  The Bank Search Inquiry summary form appears.

  2. Click the Criteria Tab.

  3. To submit this inquiry, you must enter criteria for at least one of the following field combinations: Bank Country Code and Bank Short Name, Bank Country Code and Bank Full Name, or Routing System Code.  For more specific inquiry results, enter as much information as possible.

  4. In the Bank Country Code field, enter the complete country code or click the Library Look-Up button and select a country code. 

  5. In the Bank Short Name field, enter the short bank name. 

  6. In the Bank Full Name field, enter the complete bank name. 

  7. In the Bank Address fields, enter the address for lines 1, 2, and 3, where applicable. 

  8. In the City field, enter the city where the bank is located.

  9. In the State Name field, enter the state where the bank is located.

  10. In the Routing System Code field, enter the complete routing system code or click the Library Look-Up button and select a routing code.

  11. In the Routing System Name field, enter the routing system name.

  12. In the Bank Routing Code field, enter the complete bank routing code or click the Library Look-Up button and select a bank routing code.  Note:  Selecting a bank routing code automatically populates the Routing System Code.

  13. Click Submit.  The inquiry is run and the results appear on the Transaction Detail Advice Inquiry:  Summary Tab
