Standing instructions are Direct Debits that are automatically initiated based on previously approved mandates that specifies a frequency. When creating a mandate for a standing instruction, you must indicate "Yes" on the mandate detail form.
In most regions, once the mandate for the standing instruction is approved by the biller and payer, the system will automatically create the Direct Debit instructions.
In Asia, self supporting clients may not create mandates for standing instructions.
In Latin America, the biller must manually initiate the first instruction based on the mandate. After this, the instructions are automatically initiated.
