A security method used to encrypt and sign files that are to be imported or exported. S/MIME (Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension) requires the use of a digital certificate and a software tool that can encrypt/decrypt the date to be imported/exported. Note: Use of this method for export profiles requires you to indicate which certificate will be used.
