To access Administrative Messages, click Administrative Messages on the CitiDirect navigation bar. The Administrative Messages Summary Form appears.
On the Input/Modify Tab, click New. The Administrative Message Request Detail Form appears.
In the Account Number/Currency/Name field, click the Library Look-Up button and select an account.
The Message Type field defaults to Administrative Messages.
In the Administrative Message Code/Description field, click the Library Look-Up button, select the message code that you would like to use, and then click OK. Note: To search for a particular message code, click Search. To close the dialog box without selecting a message code, click Cancel.
In the Transaction Reference Number field, enter a unique transaction reference identifier.
In the Attention field, enter the name of the person or department to whom/which the message is directed.
In the Bank Reference field, enter any general information such as a Bank Name.
In the Test Currency field, click on the Library Look-Up button and select a currency. Note: This field is only used when the message is related to funds.
In the Test Amount field, enter the Test Amount number. Note: Test Amount is required if Test Currency is filled.
In the Message Text field, enter the details of the message for this library profile. This field is automatically populated when Administrative Message Code/Description is filled using the library. If the field is not filled or you want to overwrite it, you may manually enter the details of the message for this library profile.
The Last Used Date field is automatically populated when Administrative Message Code/Description is filled using the library. If the field is not filled or you want to overwrite it, enter message details.
Click Submit.
Notes:
To return to the summary form at any time, click Return to Summary.
Click Next to view the details of the next selected message. If this is the last selected message, click Next to return to the summary form.
