Other Options

You can perform a variety of functions in relation to a summary form by clicking the Other Options button.  A pop-up menu displays a set of optional actions available.  These actions vary by service class and are outlined below.

To refresh the summary list with the most recent data, click Other Options and then click Update Screen.

Click to Expand or Contract Search

  1. To make it easy to find information on summary forms and Library Look-Up lists, CitiDirect provides the Search Definition dialog box.  Use this dialog box to enter search criteria to find specific transactions, filter data to limit the number of transactions displayed, and to sort summary lists so that they appear in an order that suits your needs.

  2. To begin a search, click Other Options, and then select Search from the menu.

Click to Expand or Contract View Error Messages

To view error messages associated with a transaction, click Other Options and then click View Error Messages.  The View Error Messages dialog box appears.  Review any errors and click OK to close the dialog box.

Click to Expand or Contract Print Summary

  1. From a summary form, select the transaction you want to include in your summary list.  To select multiple transactions, drag the cursor down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you select individual lines that are not sequential.

  2. Click Other Options and then click Print Summary. A summary list of the selected transactions, including column headings, is printed.

Click to Expand or Contract Print Detail

  1. From a summary form, select the transaction you want to include in your summary list.  To select multiple transactions, drag the cursor down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you select individual lines that are not sequential.

  2. Click Other Options, and then click Print Detail. Transaction details of the selected transactions are printed.

Click to Expand or Contract View Totals

  1. From a summary form, select the transactions you want to see the totals for.  Drag the cursor down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you select individual lines that are not sequential.

  2. Click Other Options and then click View Totals.  The View Totals dialog box appears, containing payment amount totals, listed by currency, for the selected transactions, as well as the count of how many transactions make up the totals for each currency.

Click to Expand or Contract Enter/View Comments

  1. Click Other Options and then click Enter/View Comments.  The Comments dialog box appears,listing any existing comments for the selected transaction.

  2. To attach a new comment to the selected transaction, click in the text field and type a comment.

  3. Click OK or click Cancel to return to the summary form.

Click to Expand or Contract View Transaction Flow

  1. Click Other Options, and then click View Transaction Flow. The View Transaction Flow dialog box appears, containing the state and status of the selected transaction.

  2. Review the transaction flow and click OK to close the dialog box.

  1. Click Other Options, and then click View Transaction History. The View Transaction History dialog box, containing a list of actions undergone by the selected transaction, appears.  Each action is listed with its date/time and the user name of the person who performed the action.

  2. Click OK or Cancel to close the dialog box and return to the summary form.
