For Beneficiary Accounts in some countries in Africa (Congo,
Cote D'Ivoire, Cameroon, Gabon, Kenya, Senegal, Tunisia, and Uganda):
No special characters or alphabetical characters are allowed.
For Beneficiary Accounts in the Czech and Slovak Republics
The beneficiary account number must be in Czech/Slovak format (modulo 11).
The format
is xxxxxx-yyyyyyyyyy, where the last 10 digits ("yyyyyyyyyy")
are required, the first 6 digits ("xxxxxx") are optional, and
the "-" is conditional (required if "xxxxxx" is entered).
Both parts of the Account Number are subjected to Czech/Slovak format validation.
For Beneficiary Accounts in Hungary
The beneficiary account number must be in Hungarian format.
If Beneficiary Bank Routing Code is for Citibank,
then the COSMOS account part is extracted and validated for correct COSMOS
format.
For Beneficiary Accounts in India
Only valid COSMSO account numbers will be accepted.
For Beneficiary Accounts in Kazakhstan
Must be exactly 9 digits long.
For Beneficiary Accounts in Pakistan/UAE
Only valid IBBS/COSMOS account numbers will be accepted.
For Beneficiary Accounts in Poland:
If the beneficiary bank routing code is a Citibank Code (18200001), then
the beneficiary account number must be a valid COSMOS account number.
For Beneficiary Accounts in Russia:
If the Beneficiary Bank Routing Code ("BIC") field is not blank,
the Beneficiary Account Number is validated by the Central Bank of Russia
validation rule. If
the account is invalid, a warning message appears.
For Beneficiary Accounts in South Africa:
If the beneficiary bank routing code is a Citibank SWIFT address (from
the Branch library entry for the processing branch of the transaction),
then the beneficiary account number must be a valid COSMOS/ IBBS account
number.
For Beneficiary Accounts in Turkey:
If the Beneficiary Bank Routing Code = 0092nnnnnnnn (where "nnnnnnnn"
is any 8 digits), then the bank is Citibank and the Beneficiary Account
Number must be 10N and must pass IBAN validation.
