If you are logging on to CitiDirect for the first time or if your Secured Password has been reset by your Security Manager, the Change Password dialog box appears, and you are required to change your password before continuing. For security reasons, you will also be required to change your password every 30 days thereafter.
Notes:
Only CitiDirect users with Secured Password credentials may change their password.
You are responsible for all activities performed with your User ID and Secured Password.
Never write down your secured password, and do not share your password with anyone.
If you believe that your secured password has become known to anyone else, change it.
You cannot change your password more than once in a 24 hour period.
To change your Secured Password:
If the Change Password dialog box is not open, click Preferences, which is located at the bottom of the CitiDirect navigation bar, and then click Change Password. The Changed Password dialog box appears.
The Secured Password field is automatically populated with your User ID.
In the Current Password field, enter your current password (for your first log on or after a reset, this is the initial password given to you by your Security Manager). If this is your first log on as a secured password user, this is the Temporary Password field.
In the New Password field, enter your new password. Click here for information on password rules and requirements.
In the Confirm New Password field, enter the same password that you entered in the New Password field. Note: New Password and Confirm New Password must match exactly.
Click Change Password.
