To create a new public key certificate

To enable Citibank to authenticate and decrypt data you encrypted, you must upload public key certificates to CitiDirect.

  1. On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Maintenance, and then click S/MIME Security Admin.

  2. Click the Input/Modify Tab.  All available public key certificates are listed.

  3. Click New.  The S/MIME Security Detail Form appears.  Note:  Required fields are identified by a red asterisk ( * ).

  4. In the Certificate Name field, enter a unique name for the public key certificate (maximum of 35 characters).

  5. In the Comments field, enter a descriptive comment for this public key certificate (maximum of 70 characters).

  6. In the File Name field, enter the path and name to specifies the location of the certificate you want to upload into CitiDirect.  Note:  If you are unsure of the path, click Browse to open a file browser dialog box to find the path and filename.

  7. Click Submit to upload the certificate to CitiDirect.  The certificate appears on the Input/Modify Tab.
