To find specific records or limit the range of records

The Search Criteria section in the lower portion of the initial screen of the Search Definition Dialog box contains the parameters that are most likely to ensure a successful search.  A search can be as simple or as complex as you need it to be.

To specify search criteria and run a search:

  1. In the Search Criteria section, click the drop-down arrow next to the appropriate field and select an operator.

  2. Enter any search criteria you know.  Note:  When you are looking for records with specific bank information, you must specify search criteria for either the Bank Full Name or Bank Short Name and one other field.

  3. Click Run Search.  All records that match the search criteria appear on the results list.  If you specified a sort order, all resulting records are listed in that order.
