Notes:
Once the Pre-Defined Standard Structure is modified, it is known as the Customer Defined Structure.
Only one structure can exist.
Once the detail structure has been used to store data in the Details Data Pool Library, the structure specifications (column width, type, etc.) cannot be modified.
If sub-structures have been created based on the Details Structure, it cannot be modified.
On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Maintenance, and then click Library Maintenance. The Library Maintenance Summary Form appears. All libraries to which you are entitled are listed by service class.
Select the Details Structure Library, and then click OK. The Details Structure Summary Form appears. Note: To find the Details Structure Library, click Search.
On the Input Tab, select the Pre-Defined Details Structure. Only one structure can exist. If you have modified the Pre-Defined Details Structure, it is called the Customer-Defined Structure.
If the Customer Defined Structure has been returned for repair during the authorization process, its status is "Repair Required. To repair this structure, select it, click Other Options, and then click View Error Messages. An Errors dialog box appears. Review the error listed and click OK to close the dialog box.
Click Go to Details. The Details Structure Details Form appears.
If you do not want to include all existing columns in your Detail Structure, select the columns to delete, and click Delete. You can delete any one or all columns listed. A confirmation message appears. Click Yes to confirm the deletion. The selected columns are removed from the Detail Structure.
If you have fewer than 15 columns and you want to add one or more columns, click New. The Details Dialog box appears. Complete the fields on this form and click Submit. The new column appears in the Details Structure. Refer to the procedures for editing columns and the links below for a description of the Column Types, check boxes, and input validation rules. Note: The maximum number of columns the Details Structure can hold is 15.
If you want to modify details of existing columns, select one or more columns, and then click Edit. To select multiple columns, drag the cursor down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines that are not sequential. The Details Dialog box, containing the details of the first selected column, appears.
The Column ID field automatically populates. The Column IDs are automatically numbered from C1 to C15. When adding a new column, the Column ID field defaults to the lowest available number.
In the Column Label field, enter a label to identify the data to be stored in the column. This label is displayed on transaction initiation forms and in the Details Sub Structure and Details Data Pool Libraries. The column label may contain a maximum of 20 alpha/numeric and/or SWIFT characters.
In the Filter field, select the check box if you want to designate this column for use as Search criteria.
In the Column Type field, click the drop-down arrow and select the type of data the column contains: Numeric, Date, Expression, String, Currency and Amount. Note: You may choose multiple Currency and Amount type columns. Each amount column must link to a currency column.
The Associated Currency Column field is protected and automatically filled with the only currency column of the structure. Note: This field is filled only if Column Type is Amount or Expression.
Click the check box for Designate as Amount for transaction if the currency specified in the Associated Currency Column field is the currency to be used for the calculated Expression field. Note: This field is enabled only if Column Type is Amount.
In the Column Width field, enter the number of characters, which should be equal to or greater than the minimum size required by the column data type. The label does not drive the width. For example if the column label is Order Amount (12 characters) and column type is designated as Amount (minimum 15), the column width must be greater than or equal to 15. The overall width of all columns cannot exceed 450.
In the Decimal Places field, enter the number of decimal places in the amount displayed. Note: All Expressions will be defaulted to 2 places.
The Designate as Reference Number in transaction check box is automatically checked and protected.
Click Save on the Details Dialog box. The modified column appears on the Details Structure form. If you selected multiple columns, the details of the next selected column appears. Repeat Steps 9 through 13 until all selected columns are modified.
Click Preview to review the structure. The Details Dialog box containing all of the columns included in the Details Structure appears. Review the details, and click Close to close the Details Dialog box.
Click Submit on the Details Structure form. A message stating: "This structure will over-write current structure" appears. Click OK. If you are modifying the pre-defined structure, its name is changed to Customer Defined Structure. The modified structure is submitted for authorization, if required.
Notes:
The Citibank Pre-Defined Standard Structure may be used without modifications. Note: The Expression column calculates and populates the field based on the imported data and may be redefined. This default formula used is Quantity * Rate Per Unit.
If you want modify the Citibank Pre-Defined Standard Structure by adding columns, you must first delete some of the existing columns. A structure cannot contain more than 15 columns with a total overall width of 450.
To change the sequence/order of the columns in the structure, select the column, and click Move Up or Move Down until the column is in the correct location within the structure. Columns are moved individually.
To clear all current modifications, click Clear.
