Daylight Saving Time's New Start: March 11, 2007 in U.S. and parts of Canada and the Caribbean; No action required by CitiDirect users. |
Beginning in 2007, the U.S. Energy Policy Act has changed the start of Daylight Saving Time (DST) to the second Sunday in March and the end to the first Sunday in November. As a result, DST will begin on Sunday, March 11, 2007 in the United States and in some parts of Canada and the Caribbean.
Any impact to CitiDirect Online Banking services and functionality due to this revised DST will be handled through the CitiDirect software; there is no action required by CitiDirect users.
Citigroup is taking a proactive approach in complying with the new DST changes and has taken steps to ensure that our products continue to operate without impact through the DST date transition. Citigroup’s infrastructure provides us the flexibility to manage global time zone changes across our service offerings. As such, we have reviewed all of our applications, including CitiDirect Online Banking, and taken steps to adjust those, which required action for taking into account the time change. Server and desktop operating systems have also been updated using vendor-supplied patches as required.
