Internet Explorer Cannot Download Document Error
When you try to open an Adobe PDF document from www.citidirect.com in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the document may not open, and the following error message may appear:
Internet Explorer cannot download document.pdf from server.
This issue may occur if the Do not save encrypted pages to disk check box is selected in Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1. If you receive this error, please follow these steps:
  1. From your browser, click Tools; then select Internet Options.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Scroll down to Security.
  4. See if the Do not save encrypted pages to disk check box is checked. If it is, uncheck the box.
  5. Try to download the PDF file again.
