If you do not have a Security Manager at your company you should compile the required documentation for yourself.

1. Please refer to the EMEA AML Requirements Schedule for a list of the required documents.

The Schedule sets out the specific requirements for the regulated countries, i.e. various combinations of documents. We recommend that all types of document be sent to us, particularly if you are likely to be given Authorisation entitlements to other regulated branch accounts in the future.

2. Verification of Identity Letter – this is the user’s consent for Citi to hold their documentation.

Print a copy of the Verification of Identity letter and ensure the following information is complete:
• Date (top of letter) – the date on which the letter is completed.
• Customer name – your CitiDirect client name, which can be found in the top right hand corner of your CitiDirect Online Banking screen or on the CitiDirect Online Banking website (you must be logged in to see this).
• Authoriser name – the user for whom the letter is being completed. (If you are compiling documents on behalf of other users, there must be one letter per Authoriser.)
• Permanent residence address: the user for whom the letter is being completed.
• Citizenship: the user for whom the letter is being completed.
• Authoriser’s name – the user for whom the letter is being completed.
• Accepted and agreed – must be signed by the Authoriser for whom the letter is being completed.
• Name – the name of the Authoriser for whom the letter is being completed.
• Date (bottom of letter) – the date the Authoriser signs the letter.

For users completing documents for access to Czech Republic and Slovak Republic accounts, the Certification section must be completed.

3. When compiling your documents, please include the user’s Safeword card number on each piece of documentation. The Safeword card number can be found on the reverse of the Safeword card.
