A facility that allows a user to switch sessions from one client to another. Each CitiDirect session is effective for one client at a time. Using Client Association, an entitled user can change the effective client without exiting the system and logging in as a user for a different client.
To associate with a client in CitiDirect
On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Access Management, and then click Client Association. The Client Association Dialog Box appears. The name and address of the client to which you are currently associated are listed in the Current Effective Client and Current Effective Client Address. Note: Required fields are identified by a red asterisk ( * ).
In the Change to (Client) field, click the drop-down arrow. A Search Definition Dialog Box appears.
Enter the search criteria to find other clients to which you are entitled and click Run Search.
Select a client from the library list and click OK. The selected client name appears in the Change to (Client) field and the associated address appears in the Change to (Client) Address field.
Click Apply. The name of the client that you are now associated with is listed on the top right-hand corner of the CitiDirect window. Note: The new client association is applied to the current process tab of the active service class.
Notes:
Client Association is available from any CitiDirect form except detail forms.
Click Cancel to return to the existing session utilizing the existing client.
Client Association only allows you to switch to those clients to which you are entitled.
