On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Access Management, and then click System Configuration. The System Configuration Summary Form appears.
Click the Input Tab and click New. The System Configuration Detail Form appears.
In the Type field, click the drop-down arrow and select the type of transaction rule you want to set. Any input and output criteria specific to the selected service class appear in the Available Criteria list box on the left.
From the Available Criteria list box, select the input criteria to which the system configuration rule is to apply. A Set up values for. . . dialog box appears. Based on the input criteria selected, this dialog box varies. Note: You must select the Branch Code criteria first, as the other input criteria will be limited based on the branch code selection.
In the Set Up values for. . . dialog box, select one or more of the input criteria values to which the system configuration rule is to apply. If you are defining rules for Payments Cut-Off Times for example, select one or more Payment Currencies, or Payment Methods. Note: Depending on the Branch Code selected, some criteria may not have values. This means that no choices may be set for this criteria.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 until all input criteria have been selected. Input Criteria values are selected individually. The new system configuration criteria appears in the Selected Criteria list box.
From the Available Criteria list box, select the output criteria you want to apply to any items that meet the input criteria. Note: You must enter a Default Time and the number of Disposition Days for Payments Cut-Off Times and a Match Pay Cut-Off Time for Match Pay Cut-Off Times.
The Default Cut-Off Time field applies to all valid business days unless a different time is entered in the following fields: Monday Time, Tuesday Time, Wednesday Time, Thursday Time, Friday Time, Saturday Time, Sunday Time. Enter the time in any one of these fields to override the Default Cut-Off Time, if it is a valid business day for the branch.
The Warning Time criteria is not set by default. Set a time in this field to specify the time a system message should be sent to users notifying them of the approaching Cut-Off Time. For example, setting the Warning Time to 00:15:00 would issue a warning 15 minutes before the Cut-Off time.
Review the Selected Criteria list box for accuracy and click Submit. You must specify both input and output criteria. The Save As dialog box appears.
In the Name field, type a name for the system configuration rule and click OK. The rule moves to the next step, Authorization Required.
Notes:
