To authorize, send to repair or reject system configuration rules

  1. On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Access Management, and then click System Configuration.  The System Configuration Summary Form appears.

  2. Click the Authorization Req'd Tab. All system configuration rules with an "Authorization Req'd" status that you are entitled to authorize appear.  If you submitted or modified a rule, you cannot authorize it.

  3. Select the system configuration rule you want to authorize.  To select multiple rules, drag the cursor down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines.  Note:  If one system configuration rule is selected, the input and output criteria associated with the rule appear in the Details list box on the right side of the form.  If multiple rules are selected, the list box is empty. If you want to review the input and output criteria before authorizing, select each system configuration rule individually.

  4. Click Authorize.

    –OR–

Click Send to Repair, to indicate that the system configuration rule contains errors.  A Reason dialog box appears.  Enter the reason for sending the rule to repair and click OK to close the dialog box.  A confirmation message appears and the system configuration rule is sent to the Input Tab and its status changes to "Repair Required."

  5. –OR–

Click Reject to reject (cancel) the system configuration rule.  A Reason dialog box appears.  Enter the reason for rejecting the rule and click OK to close the dialog box.  Note:  If the system configuration rule has a status of "Authorization Required," clicking Reject deletes the rule.  If the rule has a status of "Authorization Required for Delete," clicking Reject will set the status of the rule back to "Processed."
