On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Maintenance, and then click Export Profile. The Export Profile Summary Form appears.
Click the Input/Modify Tab. All export profiles with a status of "Input" or "Active" are listed.
Click New. A blank Export Profile Detail Form appears. Note: A red asterisk ( * ) indicates required fields.
In the Profile Name field, enter a unique name for this profile (maximum 25 characters).
In the Profile Description field, enter an optional description for this profile (maximum 70 characters).
The Business Service field defaults to Payments - Statement Data. Click the drop-down arrow if you would like to select a different business service.
In the Output Format Name field, click the Library Look-Up button and select a format. Click here for a listing of available Export File Formats. Note: Click here for instructions on Bank Administration Institute (BAI) formats. Output Format Names are filtered by the Business Service selected.
Select the Export IBAN Account Numbers check box to indicate that IBAN Account numbers are to be exported, instead of the Citibank account number, in the export profile. Note: This field is available if Business Service is Payments - Statement Data and if Output Format Name is EDIFACT FINSTA, SWIFT MT940, SAP MT940, or Citibank Flat File.
Select the Balances Only check box if you would like this export profile to export balances only. Note: This field is available if Output Format Name is CCM-Like BAI2.
Select the Incremental Export Indicator check box if you would like this export profile to export Incremental data. Note: Selecting the incremental export indicator will disable all date/time fields. This functionality is not available for all Business Services.
Select the Business Days check box to indicate business days instead of calender days. Note: This field is not available if Date Range Type is Relative nor for any output formats that indicate Incremental Export.
Select the Wait for All EOD Data check box to indicate that an output file should be produced only if all MT940s are available. Note: This field is only available if Business Service is Payments - Statement Data, if Date Type is Statement Date, if Date Range Type is Relative, and if Date Range is either +0, -0 or +1, -1, but is not available for any output formats that indicate Incremental Export. This indicator will impose a 4 hour timeout, after which the export profile will not be re-scheduled in AFRD and no file will be delivered. A new status is created "Incomplete" will be displayed on the Run History grid, indicating that the export was unable to get the expected accounts. This indicator will also impose branch holiday checking, so that only those accounts where no branch holiday is indicated will be included in the export.
Select the Activity Only checkbox to include only accounts with activity.
Select the Retrieve Balance Details check box to include balance details in the export file even when there are no transactions to report. Note: This field is only available if Business Service is Payments - Statement Data and Output Format Name is a custom format.
Select the Suppress Empty Sub-fields check box if all empty, optional sub-fields are to be eliminated from the output file. Note: This field is only available if Business Service is Payments - Statement Data and Output Format Name is SAP MT940, SAP MT942, SWIFT MT940, or SWIFT MT942.
The Date Range Type field defaults to Relative. To specify start and end dates for the date range, click the drop-down arrow and select Absolute.
If Relative is selected, From Date and To Date default to -0 and +0 respectively to indicate the current date. To change the default, enter the range of days before and after the current date.
If Absolute is selected, use the date spinner or calendar to select a From Date and To Date. To indicate a specific day, select the same date in both fields.
The Date Type field defaults to Entry Date. To change the default, click the drop-down arrow and select a date type. Note: Available date type will depend on Output Format.
The From Time and To Time fields specify the range of time over which transaction data is collected for export. The default value for From Time is 00:00:00, the start of the first day of the selected date range. The default value for To Time is 23:59:59, the end of the last day of the selected date range. Click the up or down arrows to change the default times.
Select the Activity Only check box to indicate that you would only like data exported from accounts that had activity during the selected Date Range. Note: This check box will not appear for all output formats and is not available if the Incremental Export Indicator is checked.
The Categories list box provides selection criteria to allow you to specify exactly what information is to be exported. The list of available categories is determined by Business Service and output format. Select one of the available categories and click Add. A list of choices appears. Select one or more of the available choices and click OK. The selected criteria appear on the Values list box. Note: You may add more than one category to the export profile.
Review the categories for accuracy. If you want to remove any selection criteria, select it in the Values list box, and then click Remove. Note: Information in the Values list box is displayed by category. You must select a category in the Categories list box to remove any values for that category.
Security and output options can be set for Automated and/or In-Session exports. Note: All Export profiles must have In-Session Profile Parameters.
In the Download Destination field, click the Browse hyperlink to select the destination for the export.
In the Session Type field, click the drop-down arrow and select In-Session.
In the Security Method field, select either None, S/MIME - signed only, S/MIME - signed and encrypted, or CRC.
If S/MIME is selected, a Certificate Name field appears. Click the Library Look-Up button and select a certificate. The selected certificate is used when interpreting encrypting data to be exported.
If CRC is selected, click the Set CRC Password hyperlink. A Set/Reset Password dialog box appears. Select a password with exactly 8 characters. Enter this password in both fields and click OK.
To set options for Automated exports, click the Library Look Up button in the Delivery Option field, and select a delivery option. Delivery options must be previously defined in the Delivery Options Library.
In the Security Method field for Automated Profile Parameters, select either None, S/MIME, or CRC.
If S/MIME is selected, a Certificate Name field appears. The Certificate Name field is automatically populated based on the selected Delivery Option.
If CRC is selected, click the Set CRC Password hyperlink. A Set/Reset Password dialog box appears. Select a password with exactly 8 characters. Enter this password in both fields and click OK. Note: This hyperlink is not enabled if the CRC Password is set in Step 24.
Click Submit. The export profile moves to the next step as defined by Flow Control requirements. If Authorization Required is set to No, the export profile will move directly to the Input/Modify Tab with a status of "Active" without going through the Authorization process. If it is set to Yes, it will move to the Input/Modify Tab with a status of "Authorization Required".
