To create new or modify existing account familiar names

  1. On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Maintenance, and then click Library Maintenance.  The Library Maintenance Summary Form appears.  All libraries to which you are entitled are listed by service class.

  2. Select the Account Familiar Name library, and then click OK.  The Account Familiar Name Summary Form, listing all of your entitled accounts, appears.  Note:  To find the Account Familiar Name Library quickly, click Search.

  3. From the Input Tab, select the account for which you want to define the account familiar name.  The cursor appears in the Account Familiar Name field.

  4. If necessary, delete the existing name and enter the name you want to assign to the account.  Note:  Only one account familiar name can be assigned to each account.

  5. You may also change the Client Clearing Account by selecting it on the summary form and making any necessary changes.  Note:  The client clearing account field can only be modified for accounts located in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

  6. Click Submit to save and submit the library profile for validation.
