On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Maintenance, and then click Library Maintenance. The Library Maintenance Summary Form appears. All libraries to which you are entitled are listed by service class.
Select the Beneficiary library, and then click OK. The Beneficiary Summary Form appears. Note: To find the Beneficiary Library quickly, click Search.
Click the Input Tab, and then click New. The Beneficiary Detail Form appears. Note: A red asterisk ( * ) indicates required fields.
In the Beneficiary ID field, enter a unique value to identify the beneficiary (payee).
In the Customer Account/Currency/Name field, click the Library Look-Up button and select a customer
In the Beneficiary Name field, enter the name of the beneficiary.
In the Beneficiary Address field, enter the complete street address of the Beneficiary. To view all information in this field, click the multiple line button.
In the Beneficiary City, enter the city of the Beneficiary.
In the Beneficiary Zip Code field, enter the zip/postal code.
The Country Code/Name field is automatically populated when the Customer Account/Currency/Name field is selected from the library list.
In the Beneficiary State field, click the Library Look-Up button and select a state.
In the Beneficiary Fax Number field, enter the fax number for sending payment advises.
In the Beneficiary Telephone Number field, enter the telephone number. Include any applicable country and area codes.
In the Tax ID field, enter the beneficiary Tax ID.
In the Maximum Amount field, enter the maximum amount allowed per payment in local currency. Note: The amount in this field must be greater than zero.
In the Maximum Amount Per Day field, enter the maximum amount per day in local currency. Note: The amount in this field must be greater than zero.
In the E-mail Address field, enter the e-mail address for sending payment advises.
In the Beneficiary Fax Destination field, enter the name of the party to receive payment advises (by Fax or Internet).
In the Beneficiary Fax Department field, enter the name of department to send payment advises. Note: Information should be entered when the Fax Number or E-Mail Address has been entered.
In the Destination Branch Code/Name field, click the Library Look-Up button and select the Citibank branch to which payments will be sent. Note: The Destination Branches that appear in the library list are validated for each country.
The Destination Branch Code/Name field is automatically populated when the Destination Branch field is selected from the library list.
In the Activity Code field, click the Library Look-Up button and select a code. Note: This field is available for Chile only.
For Interbank Funds Transfer payments, select the Interbank Funds Transfer tab. Click New to enter a new account or click Edit to edit an existing account.
In the Account field, enter the account number. Note: This field is limited to 15 characters or numbers for any Country Code other than Mexico.
Check the Default Indicator check box if this account is the default.
In the Account Type field, click the Library Look-Up button and select an account type. The Account Description field is automatically populated when the Account Type is selected from the library list.
In the Bank Code field, click the Library Look-Up button and select a code. The Bank Address field is automatically populated when the Bank Code is selected from the library list. Note: The Bank Codes that appear in the library list are validated for each country.
In the Beneficiary Branch Code field, enter the Beneficiary Branch Code.
In the Branch field, enter the Branch Number. Note: This field is available only for Mexico.
The Branch Name field, enter the Branch Name. Note: This field is available only for Mexico.
The Entity field, enter the Entity Code. Note: This field is available only for Mexico.
The Location field, enter the Location Code. Note: This field is available only for Mexico.
The Place field, enter the Place. Note: This field is available only for Mexico.
Click Save.

For Book Transfer payments, select the Book Transfer tab. Click New to enter a new account or click Edit to edit an existing account.
In the Account field, enter the account number.
Check the Default Indicator check box if this account is the default.
In the Account Type field, click the Library Look-Up button and select an account type. The Account Description field is automatically populated when the Account Type is selected from the library list. Note: The account types that appear in the library list are validated for each country.
Click Save.
Notes:
Many of the data items defined in this library are used to enter default values into payment transactions when they are created.
Some fields only apply to particular payment methods.
To return to the summary form, click Return to Summary.
To print the details of the current profile, click Print.
To clear all information for the current profile, click Clear.
