To add a profile to the Cheque Number library

  1. On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Maintenance, and then click Library Maintenance.  The Library Maintenance Summary Form appears.  All libraries to which you are entitled are listed by service class.

  2. Select the Cheque Number Maintenance library, and then click OK.  The Cheque Number Maintenance Summary Form appears.  Note:  To find the Cheque Number Maintenance Library quickly, click Search.

  3. On the Input Tab click New.  The Cheque Number Maintenance Detail Form appears.  Note:  A red asterisk ( * ) indicates required fields.

  4. In the WorldLink® Client Id field, click the Library Look-Up button and select a WorldLink client.

  5. in the Client Name field, click the Library Look-Up button and select a Client.

  6. In the Company field, click the Library Look-Up button and select a Company.

  7. In the Start Sequence Number field, enter the first number in the range for that company.

  8. In the End Sequence Number field, enter the last number in the range for that company.

  9. The Current Sequence Number field automatically updates as cheques are used.

  10. The Range Indicator field displays the status of the cheque number range:  "Retired" (range of cheque numbers already used); "Active" (current range in use); "Allocated" (range assigned, but as yet unused).

  11. Click Submit to save and submit the library profile for validation.  The profile moves to the next step in the process as defined by Flow Control requirements.
