You may only enter Lockbox Summary and Lockbox Transaction Details if you have already filled in Account Summary information and Lockbox information about the account in was entered during Lockbox Preformat.
After entering the Account Level information on the Lockbox Account Detail Form, click New in the Lockbox Summary list box. The Lockbox Details Dialog box appears. Note: A red asterisk ( * ) indicates required fields. The Account Number and Account Name fields are pre-populated based on the current Lockbox Account.
In the Lockbox Number field, click the Library Look-Up button and select a Lockbox Number. The Lockbox Name field is automatically populated and other fields become available. Note: If only one Lockbox number is available, the Lockbox Number field is automatically populated when you click the Library Look-Up button. Lockbox numbers are defined during preformat creation.
In the Total Box Deposit field, enter the total box deposit amount.
In the Total Number of Items field, enter the total number of items that are contained in the deposit amount.
To enter Lockbox Transaction Details, from the Lockbox Transaction Details list box, click New. The Details Dialog box appears.
In the Amount field, enter the transaction amount. If you assigned tag label descriptions during preformat creation, enter the applicable transaction details in the appropriate fields and click Submit. The Lockbox Transaction Details field clear.
To enter additional Lockbox Transaction Details, repeat step 6. When all transaction details have been entered, click Cancel to return to the Lockbox Details Dialog box. Note: The Input Amount and Input Number of Items fields are calculated by CitiDirect based on the information entered in the Details Dialog box.
Review all transaction details and make any necessary modifications:
To edit transaction details, select the record from the Lockbox Transaction Details list box and click Edit. The Details Dialog box appears. Make any changes and click Submit, and then click Cancel to close the dialog box.
To delete a record, select the record from the list box and click Delete. A Warning dialog box appears. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Click Save in the Lockbox Details Dialog box. The screen clears.
To enter transactions for additional Lockboxes assigned to the Lockbox Account Number, repeat steps 2 through 9. When information has been entered for all lockboxes, click Cancel. The Lockbox Account Details form appears and all box details are listed in the Lockbox Summary list box.
Review all Lockbox details and make any necessary modifications:
To edit the details of a Lockbox, select the record from the list box and click Edit. The Lockbox Details Dialog box appears. Make any changes and click Submit, and then click Cancel to close the dialog box.
To delete a record, select the record from the list box and click Delete. A Warning dialog box appears. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Click Submit to save the entered information to the database. Note: If you want to save this information to complete at a later time, click Hold. Lockbox entries put on Hold appear on the Input/Modify Tab with an "Input" status.
