On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Maintenance, and then click Liquidity Support. The Liquidity Support Summary Form appears.
Click the Acknowledge Req'd Tab or Citibank Repair Req'd Tab. A list of all the existing liquidity structures appears.
Select the liquidity structure containing the account you want to delete. Only one structure may be selected. Note: To find a specific liquidity structure, click Other Options, and then click Search.
Click Go to Structure. The Define Structure Form appears. All accounts within the selected liquidity structure are listed in the form of a tree diagram. Note: Click the plus sign (+) to the left of an account number to view account relationships within the structure.
Select the account you want to delete. To select multiple accounts, drag the cursor down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines that are not sequential.
Click Delete Account. A dialog box appears containing the following warning message, "The selected account(s) and all the dependent sub accounts will be removed from the structure. Do you want to continue?"
Click Yes. The selected accounts and all dependent sub accounts are deleted from the liquidity structure.
Click Submit. The deleted liquidity structure moves to the next step in the process, Authorization for Deletion Required.
–OR–
Click Revert to remove any saved or unsaved changes made in this process that have not been submitted. The structure will then revert to the single active version.
–OR–
Click Hold - Save to save the deletion and remain on this form.
Notes:
If the account to be deleted is a header account, the entire liquidity structure will be deleted. A dialog box appears with the following warning message: "The entire structure is about to be deleted. Do you want to continue?" If you click Yes, the entire structure is deleted.
If deletions are only permitted on the first of a calendar month, the Effective Date for deleted accounts is the current date. If you specify an effective date, it is overwritten with the first day of the next calendar month (or following month depending on the Roll-Over Date). A confirmation dialog box appears stating: "Deleted accounts will be effective from <date> where <date> is the calculated deletion date."
If deletions are permitted at any time, you may specify the effective date for deleted accounts.
If deletions are only permitted on the first of a calendar month but the date falls within x business days of the end of the month (where x is defined for the branch / product), the effective date for the deleted account is rolled-over to the following month.
If an intermediate header account is deleted, the deletion date for all linked sub accounts in this 'leg' of the structure default to the same date. The individual dates may be amended but must be on or before the date on the intermediate header account.
To refresh the summary list with the most recent data, click Other Options, and then click Update Screen.
