On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Maintenance, and then click Library Maintenance. The Library Maintenance Summary Form appears. All libraries that you are entitled to access are listed by service class.
Select the Custom Input Template library, and then click OK. The Custom Input Template Summary Form appears. Note: To find the Custom Input Template Library quickly, click Search.
Click the Input Tab, and then click New. The Custom Input Template Detail Form appears. Note: A red asterisk ( * ) indicates required fields.
In the Trade Initiator Description field, click the Library Look-Up button and select a Trade Initiator from the library. The Customer Base Number and the Customer Name fields are automatically populated.
In the Template Code field, enter a unique code to identify the template. A maximum of 5 alpha/numeric characters can be used. Note: Code 99999 identifies the Citibank standard template and it cannot be used.
In the Template Description field, enter a meaningful description for the template.
From the Import LC Issuance Template list box, select the elements that you want to include in the Custom Input Template. To select multiple elements, drag the cursor down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you select lines that are not sequential. If Yes appears in the Mandatory Ind column, that element must be included.

The order of fields in the Custom Input Template list box represents the sequence in which the fields appear when the template is used to create transactions or pre formats.
To change the order of the elements you have added to the Custom Input Template list box, select the element you want to move and click Move Up or Move Down.
To group a list of contiguous elements in the Custom Input Template list box, click Group. A dotted line appears at the bottom of the list. Select the line and click Move Up to move the dotted line above the first element you want grouped. Click Group again and select the dotted line at the bottom of the list. Click Move Up to move the dotted line below the last element you want grouped. The elements above and below the lines will be grouped on your Custom Input Template.
To remove
an element from the Custom Input Template
list box, select the element, and then click .
Review the Custom Input Template list box for accuracy and click Submit to save and submit the library profile for validation. The profile moves to the next step in the process as defined by Flow Control requirements.
Notes:
A Custom Input Template cannot be modified or deleted once it is used to create a transaction or a Pre format.
To preview the Custom Template, click Preview.
To return to the summary form, click Return to Summary.
To print the details of the current profile, click Print.
To clear all information for the current profile, click Clear.
