To edit the credentials associated with a user profile

When a User Profile is created, CitiDirect determines the type of security credentials the user will need.  Once authorized and submitted to Citibank for processing, each User Profile initiates the mailing of security credentials to users who will need SafeWord™ ID credentials or the electronic transmission of secured passwords to Security Managers for users who will need Secured Password credentials.

In addition, a user may associate other Citibank security credentials with CitiDirect.  Use the User Profile Detail Form to add, edit, or delete security credentials associated with the current user profile.

To add additional credentials to a user profile:

  1. On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Access Management, and then click User Profile.

  2. Click the Input Tab. All user profiles with a "Processed" or "Repair Req'd" status are listed.

  3. Select the User Profile to which you would like to add credentials.

  4. Click Go to Details. The User Profile Detail Form appears.

  5. In the Credentials list box, click New. The Details Dialog box appears.

  6. In the Credential Type field, click the drop-down arrow and select a credential type.  If the user wants to use existing Citibank credentials within CitiDirect, select the appropriate credential type: "CBII User ID" or "SpeedCollect ID."

  7. In the Credential ID field, enter the ID that corresponds to the selected Credential Type.  This is required.  For example, if you selected CBII User ID, enter the CBII User ID currently assigned to this user.  Note: If a user's assigned Access Profiles grant access to view-only functionality, a Secured Password ID is automatically assigned.  The associated Credential ID is generated by Citibank and communicated electronically to each Security Manager.

  8. Click Submit to add this credential to the current user profile.

  9. If necessary, repeat steps 6 through 8 to add more credentials to the current user profile.
