To create or edit Security Contact information

When Client Definition records are created, Security Contacts are identified.  Note:  A minimum of two security contacts are required.

Use the Details Dialog box to identify, edit, or delete security contacts associated with the client definition record.

To add additional security contacts to a client definition record

  1. In the Last Name field, enter the last name for the contact.

  2. In the First Name field, enter the first name for the contact.

  3. Select the Safeword Token Exists check box if this security contact has an existing SafeWord™ card.  If a  safeword card exists, the Token field appears.  In the Token field, enter the serial of the SafeWord card.

  4. The following fields are optional:  Middle Name, Title, and Department.

  5. Enter address information in the following fields:  Street Address,Building/Floor/Room,City,State/Province/Territory,Postal Code/Zip Code, and Country.

  6. In the Preferred Contact Method field, click the drop-down arrow and select a contact method.

  7. In the Telephone field, enter a telephone number for the contact.

  8. In the Fax, E-Mail, and Telex fields enter any available contact information.

  9. Click Submit. The Details dialog box clears and the  security contact information appears on the Security Contacts list box.  If you would like to identify another security contact, repeat steps 1 through 9.  When all security contacts have been identified, click Cancel to return to the Client Definition Summary Form.

Notes:

To edit existing security contacts in a client definition record

  1. On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Activation, and then click Client Definition.  The Client Definition Summary Form appears.

  2. Click the Input Tab.  Clients with client definition records with a status of "Activated," "On Hold," "Invalid," or Repair Required" are listed.

  3. Select the client definition record you want to modify.  To select multiple records, drag down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines that are not sequential.

  4. Click Go to Details. The Client Definition Detail Form appears.

  5. In the Security Contacts list box, select the security contact you want to edit.  To select multiple contacts, drag the cursor down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines.

  6. Click Edit. A Details Dialog containing the details of the first selected contact appear.

  7. Make any necessary modifications.

  8. Click Submit. If more than one security contact was selected, the details of the next selected contact appear.  Note: If you do not want to modify the current contact, click Next to view the next selected contact.

  9. Continue this process until all selected security contacts have been modified and submitted.  Note: When the details dialog box contains the last selected contact, click Submit or Next to return to the summary form.

  10. On the Client Definition Detail Form, click Submit to submit the changes.

To delete security contacts assigned to a client definition record

  1. On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Activation, and then click Client Definition.  The Client Definition Summary Form appears.

  2. Click the Input Tab.  Clients with client definition records with a status of "Activated," "On Hold," "Invalid," or Repair Required" are listed.

  3. Select the client definition record you want to modify.  To select multiple records, drag down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines that are not sequential.

  4. Click Go to Details. The details of the first selected record appear on the Client Definition Details Form.

  5. In the Security Contacts list box, select the contact to delete.  To select multiple contacts, drag down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines that are not sequential.

  6. Click Delete. A Warning dialog box appears.

  7. Click Yes. The contact is deleted from the client definition record.
