The CitiDirect category that provides a facility for Citibank personnel to:
Gather and enter the information needed to establish a client on CitiDirect.
Identify the business activities a client intends to conduct with Citibank via CitiDirect.
Specify who the client is and assign the Citibank products and services they need.
Activation provides the following CitiDirect service classes, which are essential to every Client Activation:
Account Management: To identify the types of transactional entities (Accounts Numbers, Base Numbers and/or GFCIDs) for transacting and reporting activity that the client will use for CitiDirect business activities.
Account to Service Association: To associate, or disassociate, accounts and base numbers with CitiDirect service classes, such as Payments, FX, Investments, etc. This association allows a client access to those accounts.
Citibank Contacts: To enter and maintain sets of contact records (Name, Role, Address, Phone Numbers, etc.) for Citibank client contact personnel (Citibanker contacts). These records are associated to particular clients using either the Client Contacts or Citibank Contacts service classes.
Client Configuration: To set parameters (country of domicile, rate method, and whether to allow batch authorization) that govern how CitiDirect applications operate for a client.
Client Definition: To enter the information needed to identify and establish a client on CitiDirect.
Client Entitlements Profile: To create or modify client entitlements profiles which assign payment methods & types by Account and Processing Location.
Default Access Profile: To create or modify the default access profiles that are associated with a solution package.
Solution Assigner: To assign one or more solution packages to a client, making the services included in the assigned solution packages available for use. The client will use these solution packages to conduct CitiDirect business activities, such as payment processing, foreign exchange, trade services, etc.
Solution Packager: To build a solution package, if the listing of available default packages does not contain a solution package to meet the business needs of the client.
