In order to schedule an event, it must be available for scheduling. The report, import profile, or export profile to be used must be complete and active. Before a report, import or export profile can be scheduled, an "Automated Session" delivery option must be specified for that event. Delivery options are defined in the Delivery Options library.
On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Maintenance, and then click Automated File and Report Delivery. The Automated File and Report Delivery Summary Form appears.
On the Input/Modify Tab, click New. The Automated File and Report Delivery Detail Form appears. Note: Required fields are identified by a red asterisk ( * ).
In the Schedule Name field, enter a unique descriptive name for the event to be scheduled (maximum 50 Characters). Note: This name must be unique for your entire company.
In the Event Type field, click the Library Look-Up button and select Export Profile, Import Profile, or Report.
In the Event Name field, click the Library Look-Up button and select an event. Your choices will be determined by the event type and your entitlements. Note: If you are scheduling an import or export profile, a delivery option must be specified. If you schedule a report that does not have a delivery option specified, the report will be available in session after each scheduled run.
In the Schedule Interval field, click the drop-down arrow and select Once, Every 1 or more Days, Every 1 or more Weeks, Every 1 or more Months, or Event Based. The fields on the bottom of the form will vary depending on the Schedule Interval selected.
In the Holiday Options field, click the drop-down arrow and select when the event should run if it falls on a holiday. Note: This field is not available if Schedule Interval is Event Based.
In the Start Date field, enter the date you want the event to occur. This date must be the current day or later. You may also use the date spinner or calendar to enter or change the date. Note: If the Schedule Interval is Once, this field is labeled Run Date. This field is not available if Schedule Interval is Event Based.
In the Start Time field, enter the time of day you would like the scheduled event to run. Note: This is the last field if the Schedule Interval is Once. This field is not available if Schedule Interval is Event Based.

In the Run Every: Number of Days field, enter the interval in days to run the scheduled event. For example, enter a "1" to run the report every day. If you want the report to run every 2, 3, or 4 days, enter the appropriate number in this field.
Notes:
The possible range is from 1 to 31.
The days referred to are calendar days, not business days.
In the Run Every: Number of Weeks field, enter the interval in weeks to run the scheduled event. For example, to run the event every week, enter a "1." If you want the event to run every 2, 3, or 4 weeks, enter the appropriate number in this field. Note: The maximum number for this field is 52.
In the Days of the Week list box, select the days of the week the event should occur. To select multiple days, drag the cursor down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines that are not sequential.
In the Run field, click the drop-down arrow and select Once a Month by day of the month or One or more times a month,by day(s) of the week.
The Months of the Year list box defaults to all months selected. To change the default, select the months of the year the event should occur. To select multiple months, drag the cursor down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines that are not sequential.
If you select Once a month by day of the month, you must enter a number between 1 and 31 in the Day of the month field. If you indicate 31 (last day of the month) the scheduled event will run on the last day of months that are less than 31 days.
If you select One or more times a month, by day(s) of the week you must:
Select when the event should occur in the Every list box. To select occurrences, drag the cursor down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines that are not sequential.
Select the days of the week the event should occur in the Days of the Week list box. To select multiple days, drag the cursor down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines that are not sequential.
For example, if you would like the event to run on the first and third Sunday and Friday of the selected months, select First and Third in the Every list box, and Sunday and Friday in the Days of the Week list box.
Note: If a day of the week is both the Last and Fourth for that month, the schedule will only be run once on that day.
Selecting the Intra-Day check box allows you to specify that you want the event to be run multiple times in the day. If the check box is selected, the following fields appear.
In the Intra-day Interval field, enter the interval on which the event should run. Note: The minimum interval is 30 minutes.
In the End Time field, enter the time of day that the last interval of the event should occur. Note: The End Time must be later than the Start Time plus the Intra-day interval.
Click Submit. The detail form clears and the scheduled event is saved and submitted for validation and processing.

Click Save to save the scheduled event for later modification.

Once submitted, the scheduled event moves to the next step in the process as defined by Flow Control requirements.
