Notes:
CitiDirect initially provides a set of default flow controls for certain services; however, you can modify these default flow controls to meet your particular needs.
CitiDirect allows you to specify up to nine (9) levels of authorization, with up to nine (9) authorizations at each level. For example, a flow control can be set to require that all payments over $10MM made in any or all currencies be authorized by two people at Authorization Level 1 and one person at Authorization Level 2.
When multiple levels of authorization are required, a transaction first flows to the lowest level for authorization and remains at that level until the prescribed number of authorizations have been met. The transaction then passes to the next higher level, until all levels are exhausted.
Flow Controls are implemented at an organization level, and therefore, pertain to all CitiDirect users within that organization.
Only entitled users (typically Security Managers) have access to Flow Maintenance.
Creating, modifying, or deleting flow controls requires authorization.
