To link account numbers, base numbers, or  WorldLink® IDs to a client

Note:

  1. On the CitiDirect navigation bar, click Activation and then click Account Management.  The Account Management Summary Form appears.

  2. Click the Input/Modify Tab.

  3. The Client field defaults to the client to which you are associated.  To change the client, click the Library Look-Up button.  The Search Definition Dialog box appears.  Enter Search Criteria to find the client, and then click Run Search.  A Library Look-Up dialog box appears, listing clients that meet the criteria you entered.

    Select the client to which you want to link account numbers, base numbers or WorldLink IDs and click OK.  The Input/Modify Tab will now display any accounts, numbers, or IDs assigned to that client.

  4. Click New, and then select either Account, Base Number, Accounts via Base Number, WorldLink® ID, or Smart Account Group.  A Search Definition Dialog box appears.  Note:  Depending on your selection, the search criteria will vary.

To find the account number that you would like to link to the selected client, do the following:

  1. Enter search criteria in any of the available fields: Branch, Account, Account Name, Country, Currency, Base Number or CCM Number.

  2. The more information you enter, the more specific your results.  If no search criteria is entered, your search will return all account numbers.  Note: The blue asterisks ( ** ) indicate that at least one of the fields marked must be populated to submit this search.

  3. Click Run Search.  A Library Look-Up dialog box appears.

  4. Select the account number you want to link to the current client.  To select multiple account numbers, drag down sequential lines, or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines that are not sequential.

  5. Click OK. An Information dialog box appears confirming that the request was successfully processed.

  6. Click OK.  The selected account numbers are linked and you are returned to the Account Management Summary Form.

Click to Expand or Contract Base Number or Accounts via Base Number

To find the base number that you would like to link to the present client, do the following:

  1. Enter search criteria in any of the available fields:  Branch, Customer Base Number, or Liability Code.

  2. The more information you enter, the more specific your results.  If no search criteria is entered, your search will return all base numbers.  Note: The blue asterisks ( ** ) indicate that at least one of the fields marked must be populated to submit this search.

  3. Click Run Search.  A Library Look-Up dialog box appears.

  4. Select the base number that you want to link to the current client.  To select multiple base numbers, drag down sequential lines, or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines that are not sequential.

  5. Click OK. An Information dialog box appears confirming that the request was successfully processed.

  6. Click OK. The selected base numbers are linked and you are returned to the Account Management Summary Form.

Click to Expand or Contract WorldLink® ID

Note: This is a WorldLink® only function and not applicable to other services; e.g., Payments and Reporting / Netting etc.

  1. To find a specific WorldLink ID, enter search criteria in any of the following fields:  WorldLink® ID or WorldLink® Client Name.

The more information you enter, the more specific your results.  If no search criteria is entered, your search will return all WorldLink ID's.  Note: The blue asterisks ( ** ) indicate that at least one of the fields marked must be populated to submit this search.

  1. Click Run Search. A Library Look-Up dialog box appears.

  2. Select the WorldLink ID that you want to link to the current client.  To select multiple WorldLink ID's, drag down sequential lines, or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines that are not sequential.

  3. Click OK.  An Information dialog box appears confirming that the request was successfully processed.

  4. Click OK.  The selected WorldLink IDs are linked and you are returned to the Account Management Summary Form.

Click to Expand or Contract Smart Account Group

To find the base number that you would like to link to the present client, do the following:

  1. Enter search criteria in any of the available fields:  Branch, Smart Account Group, or Smart Account Group Name.

  2. The more information you enter, the more specific your results.  If no search criteria is entered, your search will return all base numbers.  Note: The blue asterisks ( ** ) indicate that at least one of the fields marked must be populated to submit this search.

  3. Click Run Search.  A Library Look-Up dialog box appears.

  4. Select the base number that you want to link to the current client.  To select multiple base numbers, drag down sequential lines, or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines that are not sequential.

  5. Click OK. An Information dialog box appears confirming that the request was successfully processed.

  6. Click OK. The Smart Account Groups are linked and you are returned to the Account Management Summary Form.

  1. The selected accounts are added to the Account Management Summary Form with a status of "Authorization Req'd," if specified in Flow Control requirements.

Notes:
