Domestic Funds Transfer:  Poland

  1. To access Payments, click Payments on the CitiDirect navigation bar and select any link to the process tabs, such as Modify.  The Payments Summary Form appears.  Click New and select New Outgoing Payment.  The Payments Detail Form appears.  Note:  Required fields are identified by a red asterisk ( * ).

To access Payments, click Payments on the CitiDirect navigation bar and select Input New Outgoing.   The Payments Detail Form appears.  Note:  Required fields are identified by a red asterisk ( * ).

  1. The Preformat Code field should be left blank when creating a payment from Full Detail.  Note:  If you are going to Submit and Create Preformat, information is required in this field.

  2. The Debit Account Number/Currency/Name field defaults to Client Preference settings.  If you have more than one Citibank account and you want to debit a different account, click the Library Look-Up button and select another account number.  All related fields are automatically populated.  Note: This field also supports IBAN numbers.

  3. In the Payment Currency/Amount fields, the currency code defaults to Client Configuration settings.  If you want to change it, click the Library Look-Up button and select a different currency code.  Enter the amount of the payment in that currency.

  4. If the Use This Currency For Next Payment checkbox is selected, the currency used in this payment will be saved as the default for the next payment entered.

  5. In the Payment Method field, click the Library Look-Up button and select Domestic Funds Transfer.  Fields specific to Domestic Funds Transfer payments appear in the lower portion of the Payments Detail Form.

  6. In the Payment Type field, click the Library Look-Up button and select a payment type.  Note:  Based on the specified currency and the Debit Account Branch, CitiDirect automatically determines exactly which payment types are available.

  7. In the Subsidiary Identifier/Name fields, click the Library Look-Up button and select a subsidiary from the Subsidiary Identifier Library.  Note:  These fields are only available if the Subsidiary Identifier in Client Preference is set to 'Yes'.

  8. In the Transaction Reference Number field, enter the transaction reference number.  Note:  A complete or partial Transaction Reference Number may be system-generated if specified in Client Preferences.

  9. The Confidential field is available if selected in My Preferences.  If you want to indicate that this is a confidential payment, select this check box.  Note:  Access to confidential payments is determined by your Access Profile.

  10. The Value Date field defaults to a system-generated date.  If you want to change the default, use the date spinner or calendar to enter a date that is later than the system-generated date.  Click here for information on Value Dates.

  11. In the Beneficiary Account Number field, click the Library Look-Up button and enter the account number of the beneficiary.  Click here for more information on beneficiary account number validation.

  12. In the Beneficiary Name/Address field, enter the name and address of the beneficiary.  To view all information in this field, click the multiple line button.

  13. In the Beneficiary Bank Routing Code field, click the Library Look-Up button and select a routing method.

  14. In the Beneficiary Bank Name field, click the Library Look-Up button and select a bank.

 If Payment Type is Internal Revenue:

    1. In the Identification Type field, click the drop-down arrow and select eitherID Card Number, Passport Number, Pesel Number, Regon Number or Taxpayer ID Number.

    2. In the Identification Number field, enter the ID card, Passport, Pesel, Regon,or Taxpayer ID number.

    3. In the Period Year, Period Type, and Range fields, enter the period information.  Click the drop-down arrow to select the appropriate Period Type.

    4. In the Form or Payment Symbol Order field, click the Library Look-Up button and select a symbol.

    5. In the Free Text field, enter any additional information to be included with the payment.

 If Payment Type is Ordinary Payment:

 If Payment Type is Social Security Payment:

    1. In the Taxpayer Identification Number field, enter the 10 digit identification number.

    2. In the Other Identification Type field, click the drop-down arrow and select eitherID Card Number, Passport Number, Pesel Number, or Regon Number.

    3. In the Other Identification Number field, enter the ID card, Passport, Pesel, or Regon number.

    4. In the Declaration Type field, click the drop-down arrow and select the appropriate Declaration.  Note: Declaration Type K is not available for Poland.

    5. In the Declaration Date field, enter the appropriate Date.

    6. In the Declaration Number field, enter the appropriate Number.

    7. In the Decision Number field, enter the appropriate number.  Note: This field is required if Declaration Type is A, B, D, E, T, or U.

  1. Click Submit to save and submit the payment for validation.  The payment moves to the next step in the payment process as defined by Flow Control requirements.

Click Submit and Create Preformat to submit the payment for validation and save the payment information as a preformat.  Both the payment and the preformat move to the next step in their respective processes, as defined by Flow Control requirements.
