The Allow User Access to Days fields default to the current date (Start Date) and to one year later (End Date). To change the default, click the drop-down arrow and use the calendar or use the date spinner to enter the first and last dates when the user can access the system. Note: The user will not be able to access CitiDirect on or after the specified End Date.
The Allow User Access to Time fields default to 24-hour access (Start 00:00 and End 23:59). To change the default, use the up and down arrows to enter the earliest and latest times within a 24-hour period that the new user can access the system.
If this user has existing credentials that are to be used with CitiDirect or you want to assign a Secured Password ID, click New in the Credentials list box. The Details Dialog box appears. Note: If the user does not have existing Citibank credentials and he or she requires full access to CitiDirect, a SafeWord™ card and security credentials will be issued once this profile is authorized and processed. Transaction initiation and access management are examples of functionality that require full access.
In the Credential Type field, click the drop-down arrow and select one of the following:
CB User ID, SafeWord ID, or SpeedCollect ID and enter the Credential ID that corresponds to the selected Credential Type. Note: If you are specifying an existing SafeWord ID, you must ensure that the SafeWord Card is compatible with CitiDirect.
If you are assigning a Secured Password ID, the Credential ID is system generated. Note: This credential ID is used as the Sign-on ID in conjunction with a system generated initial password for initial log in. Click here for information on viewing a user's initial password.
Click Submit. The Details Dialog box clears and the specified Credential Type and ID appear in the list box. Note: A user may have more than one credential type. Once all credential types have been specified, click Cancel to return to the User Profile Detail Form.
The Days of the Week field defaults to seven (7) days. To change the default, select the days of the week the new user can access the system. To select multiple days, drag the cursor down sequential lines or hold the CTRL key as you click to select individual lines that are not sequential.
Click Submit. The form clears and the user profile proceeds to the next step in the process as defined by Flow Control requirements.
If you want to create another user profile, repeat steps 3 through 23.
Notes:
Access profiles, which used to be assigned in the User Profile service class, are now assigned in User Entitlements.
The person who submits the user profile cannot authorize it.
Citibank does not process the user profile until it is authorized.
As soon as a user profile for a new user with a Secured Password ID is authorized and submitted to Citibank, that user's initial password is delivered electronically to each Security Manager. For security reasons, each Security Manager receives half of this initial password. The Security Managers can choose to distribute this password to the user in a manner deemed appropriate with their internal processes. Click here for information on accessing initial passwords for users with Secured Password credentials.
After initial log in, users with Secured Password IDs must change their password. Click here for information on changing a secured password.
